This is the second time one of Flint Juventino Beppe´s ablums receive a Grammy Award nomination.

REMOTE GALAXY nominated for a Grammy Award

Flint Juventino Beppe´s latest album REMOTE GALAXY (2L) has been nominated for a Grammy Award 2015 in the category «Best surround sound album».
In many respects, REMOTE GALAXY is continuing the journey of its prequel, FLUTE MYSTERY (also Grammy-nominated, in 2010). On both albums, the music is performed by Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy. Beppe's REMOTE GALAXY competes with five other albums in the mentioned category, amongst them releases from Beyoncé and Pink Floyd.

— It is always a great pleasure to work with the producer Morten Lindberg and his team in 2L, and the process of making REMOTE GALAXY has been very enriching, indeed. With this nomination, REMOTE GALAXY belongs at the very top of world-class, innovative, high-end sound quality releases. The recording sessions of Remote Galaxy were a thoroughly enjoyable experience, with a Philharmonia Orchestra in top shape and the legendary Vladimir Ashkenazy conducting the works. I need to mention the outstanding performances of the soloists, too: Emily Beynon (flute), Ralph Rousseau (viola da gamba) and Mark van de Wiel (clarinet). All the contributors on REMOTE GALAXY have made an excellent effort to make the sheet music shine. I am very grateful. Congrats to producer Morten Lindberg and all participants!

These are the nominees in the specific category:

- 2L´s recording - Blu-ray and accessible in 5.1 and 7.1 DTS, 2.0 LPCM and 9.1 Auro-3D - does indeed sound breathtaking.-
Gramophone magazine, April 2014

This is a stunningly unusual flute concerto full of poetry, drama and intense feelings. As with the other works on this fine disc, it is brilliantly played by the Philharmonia Orchestra under Vladimir Ashkenazy. Emily Beynon is a superb soloist.
The Classical Reviewer, May2014

- Remote Galaxy is one of the finest recordings I have ever heard! Unlike a lot of so-called demonstration material, the music matches the quality of the recording. It's an incredible artistic and technical achievement, and a disc I will return to many times in the months and years to come.
